Merrill Chamber Sponsors A.I. Workshop at Northcentral Technical College Merrill Campus

MERRILL – On Friday August 16, the Merrill Chamber of Commerce sponsored the first of three sessions geared towards introducing local businesses to Generative AI for Business Enhancement, helping them understand how to leverage these technologies to improve efficiency and decision making in their respective markets, fields and industries.

The Artificial Intelligence Series kicked off at the Northcentral Technical College Public Safety Center of Excellence, located on Champagne St in Merrill. Northcentral Tech Instructor Josh Stutting led the unique training and information session. When asked where he sees A.I. trending in the next six months, Josh said “That’s a great question, every time I think I have my finger on the pulse, it changes. It gets faster, things just come completely out of nowhere. There is just so much progress being made in such short time”. Josh was also asked what the best resource is for tapping into AI and Chat GPT education, to which he responded “The Merrill chamber did a great thing here, and they provided the opportunity for local businesses to come in here and upscale. Finding somebody that can really get the point across and be in front of you to answer your questions. Other than that, my recommendation is the best thing is to go to Chat PT. com and start trying.”

The Artificial Intelligence Series continued with Session 2 Monday morning at Northcentral Tech, and concludes with a hands-on session on Wednesday Morning, Aug 21.
